One of the main reasons why we can't lose weight fast is due to the food choices that we make in our lives. Remember the saying "Garbage in, Garbage out"? Tip 1: Vegetables

Vegetables should definitely be at the top of you food chain list. It gives the right nutrition and vitamins that you body needs while helping you to control your weight.


Tip 2: Fruits Galore


Fruits can help increase enzymes in the body which in turn gives us the energy to burn off fat faster. It is important that everyone consumes at least two portions of fruits a day. Alternatively you can blend a variety of fruits together as juices. Do not over do it though. The trick is to maintain a variety of fruits in a day

Tip 3: Milk Products

The human body needs calcium to stay healthy. Dairy products that have little or no fat in them can also contribute to your healthy food choice. Yogurt is a great choice to help you lose weight while maintaining your calcium intake.


Tip 4: Whole Grains


Six oz of whole grain cereals a day should also give a well balanced diet to help you stay healthy. A good way to add flavour and variety to your cereals would be to mix your fruits and grains together.
If you are a bread lover you should choose whole grain bread instead.

Tip 5: Fresh Meat


Meat is one of the sources of protein that you can't do without. The key to eating healthy and keeping your weight under control is to eat a moderate portion of fresh meat.


A portion of should be from 4 to 5 oz depending on your calorie intake. The meat though should be as lean as possible. You can cook it by baking, grilling or even broiling as these methods will drain away a substantial amount of unwanted grease in the meat.


Alternatively you can substitute your protein intake with fish, nuts and beans which are much healthier.

Strictly SAY NO to foods containing a large percentage of trans fats, saturated fat and also increased levels of sodium. Do take some time to check the ingredients on the food labels ensuring that they do not contain these three elements.
