When I sat down and decided that I wanted to change my life and lose weight I found it hard to know where to start. I decided to look online for inspiration. The trouble was that every website had their own methods, tips and products to sell me that it was hard to know who to believe.

I wanted to lose weight but the trouble was I was so unhealthy that I was not sure where to begin. I spoke to a friend of mine for advice and was told simply - Eat Healthy + Exercise =Weight Loss. It sounded too good to be true.


However I gave it a try and it really worked. I decided I wanted to share the way I lost over 80 pounds with the rest of the world.
Exercise Is Easy

At first I was worried about exactly how to exercise. It has been so long and I was so unfit I didn't want to push myself to hard. I started by taking a walk each day, after a week I extended the walk. I continued to do this each week until I really noticed a difference in my health levels. Initially it was hard to get out there without the worry of people looking at me. All I did was put on a base ball cap and put my iPod on loud and that way if people were looking I didn't notice - or care!

Once my health levels had improved I joined a gym and they helped me come up with a best weight loss program exercise regime that really helped.

Eating Is Not Cheating
Being healthy is not about not eating; in fact it is not really about even eating less than you do now. It is about changing what you eat and when you eat it. Now I do not eat after 6pm at night. During the day I snack on fruit and nuts. My dinners are healthy with bundles of vegetables and healthy cuts of meat. I am never hungry!

The New Me 
I am a new person - I am happier and more confident. I can honestly say 4 words changed my life..."Eat healthy and exercise."
